Breast cancer: data introduction
The Cancer incidence in Scotland publication produced by the Public Health Scotland (PHS) Population Health Team, provides an overview of the data on cancer in Scotland, comparing breast cancer alongside other common cancers. The publication also contains detailed statistics on breast cancer in Scotland, including data on breast cancer incidence, mortality, survival, prevalence and lifetime risk, which are all available as downloadable Excel files.
Table 1 summarises the dimensions / geographies at which breast cancer data are presented, either within the data pages which follow or through hyperlinks to other websites.
