Scottish policies and strategies: introduction - ARCHIVED
This section of the website provides a short index to Scottish Government policies and supporting information relevant to population health, and particularly to population health improvement. Its purpose is to provide a quick reference tool with links to relevant documents and web pages.
Please use the left-hand menu to navigate the pages in this section and browse the policies index. An outline of the pages is given below, as well as an A to Z listing of policy areas.
The section is reviewed and updated regularly, as noted in the Section Update box at the bottom of this page, but policy and related information are constantly evolving and use of these pages should take this into account. Although we endeavour to ensure that this section is kept up-to-date, there may be a time lag between new policy and related information being published / announced and these web pages being updated. Also, it is often unclear when a policy or strategy has been wholly replaced by new policy. The classification of policies as 'current' or otherwise should not, therefore, be regarded as definitive. Please contact the ScotPHO team (scotpho@nhs.net ) if you find any errors or omissions.
