Education: data - ARCHIVED
A range of statistics on school education in Scotland, including: pupil attainment and qualifications; destination of school leavers; school attendance and exclusions and school nutrition are available from the Scottish Government web site.
The Scottish Government web site also provides a range of statistics on lifelong learning, including information on students in further and higher education.

National Records Scotland (NRS) provide access to census data through the Scotland's Census website. This includes information on population in full-time education, qualifications attained, and students living in an area (broken down for a range of geographical levels).
The Higher Education Statistics Agency provides data on all aspects of the UK higher education sector.
